The audio was recorded on a Zoom handy recorder placed at the side of the room so the sound quality is not too good here but maybe someone will like it. Ive decided to knock Rise on the head now to concentrate on writing for a new band with vox that im setting up. Got fed up of playing to 50 people :) No one seems to like instrumental music here unless its Dubstep. Had a lot of fun with these guys :)

Instrumentals and originals in general are a very tough gig. And bands doing jazz standards with gain is an even harder gig! Sounds great, I 'd be one of those people at the gig going "yeah, I get this" and fist pumping the air :)

The change up at 2:30 is cool and it becomes very prog-ish. Awesome stuff, sorry the band didn't work out but I am sure your vocal project will go over live very well.

Killer stuff Chris! Musicians will appreciate the effort. Looking forward to your new project with vocals. I think the average person on the street relates more music with lyrics and catchy melodies. Most people can hum a tune and remember lyrics. They can't hum a guitar solo, LOL! Great musicianship though, band is tight, loved the transition from smooth jazz to prog.
