    If I Needed Someone [Beatles] - Bearman007

Hi guys! Been a while since I posted anything new. I ran across this old Beatles tune while cruising Youtube, hadn't heard it in years. I saw a version by the Cryan Shames [Late 60's, Early 70's band from Chicago] and liked harmonies so much, I thought crank out a cover with a slightly more modern vibe. I created the drum track using Superior Drummer, added the guitars, bass, and vocals.

Comments and critiques welcome as always. :awesome:

Thanks Nev! I re-uploaded the track, noticed an issue with one of the vocal tracks in one section, think it got knocked out of position, timing was off a tad.

Thanks Louie, Wigs, Johnny & Djayart!

Johnny, no 12 string, unfortunately. I used a Les Paul Studio for the guitars into my POD HD500, direct to Cubase 5. I used a modified Fender Twin patch with a touch of analog chorus. Left channel, LP with both pickups, right channel, LP bridge pickup. Used different patch for the rhythm guitar.

Thanks again for the comments guys! :awesome:

Amazing! You really nailed the vox sound here, this is when those guys where really into the Beach Boys close harmonies and those can be hard to pick of the records but your ear nabbed them all :) Great guitar tones, another masterpiece of a cover :awesome::awesome::awesome::awesome::awesome:

Excellent Bear!! You really nailed the whole nine yards. The instruments and production were very classy as usual and what to say about the vocals! Killer harmony work as well as having your own stand out vocal timbre and style. Vocal harmonies is something Im working hard on mith a mate of mine for some acoustic style stuff and Im finding it really hard work. You make it sound easy. Great track!:awesome:
